EcoCeres Advances Renewable Fuel Growth and Sustainability Performance in 2025 Sustainability Report and 2025 GHG Accounting and Audit Report

Hong Kong – 27 August 2026 – EcoCeres, a global leader in the innovation and commercialization of renewable fuels and green molecules, released its 2025 Sustainability Report and 2025 GHG Accounting and Audit Report, outlining the company’s progress in scaling sustainable fuel solutions, strengthening sustainability governance, and advancing decarbonization across its operations and value chain. The reports highlight EcoCeres’ continued focus on transforming waste-based feedstocks into high-value renewable fuels while supporting customers in hard-to-abate sectors on their lower-carbon transition.

Key highlights from the Sustainability Report include:

1. Scaling renewable fuel solutions: EcoCeres continued to grow its sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) platform in 2025, supported by the successful commissioning of its Johor plant in Malaysia to meet rising demand in priority markets.
2. Advancing operational decarbonization: EcoCeres is committed to achieving full-scope carbon neutrality by 2050, aligned with its projected production capacity and business plans. In 2025, the Group’s combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions intensity remained 11% below its 2022 base year, despite the expansion of its operational footprint. EcoCeres is targeting a 30% reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions intensity by 2035, compared with 2022.
3. Strengthening sustainability governance: EcoCeres further enhanced its sustainability governance framework in 2025, with Board oversight, CEO-led executive accountability through the Sustainability Steering Committee, and ESG-linked KPIs incorporated into executive compensation.
4. Advancing renewable energy and efficiency: Group energy intensity declined from 857 kWh/t in 2022 to 695 kWh/t in 2025, representing an 18.9% reduction, while the Jiangsu plant increased the share of green electricity in total electricity consumption to 69% in 2025, progressing toward its 2030 target of 100% renewable electricity.
5. Promoting supply-chain transparency: EcoCeres maintained 100% ISCC traceability for waste-based feedstock and achieved full supplier commitment to its Supplier Code of Conduct for waste-based feedstock suppliers.
6. Driving responsible growth: EcoCeres became a member of the United Nations Global Compact in October 2025, reinforcing its commitment to responsible governance, transparency and alignment with internationally recognized sustainability principles.  In January 2026, EcoCeres was also awarded an EcoVadis Gold Medal, placing the company among the top 5% of businesses assessed globally and recognizing its sustainability performance across environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

The 2025 reports also detail EcoCeres’ progress in carbon management, responsible sourcing, employee engagement, innovation and HSSE performance. In 2025, EcoCeres recorded zero employee or contractor fatalities and no serious work-related injuries, while providing more than 54,000 hours of HSSE training to over 16,000 employees and contractors. The company also strengthened its Group-wide, risk-based HSSE framework to support safe, resilient and responsible operations as it expands internationally.
